For moments of complete relaxation, we can arrange for a professional massage & beauty therapist to come to the house. Treatments take place in the peaceful surroundings of the garden, where the quiet countryside and scent of olive trees and flowers create the perfect atmosphere to unwind.

Experiences

Activities in Le Marche

One of the great pleasures of staying at Casale la Quercia is discovering the many experiences that make life in Le Marche so special. From cooking and wine to outdoor adventures and cultural events, the region offers endless opportunities to explore.

Below are some of the favourite experiences enjoyed by our guests that can be arranged.

For special evenings, a private chef can prepare a full Italian dinner at the house, allowing guests to relax and enjoy a restaurant-quality meal without leaving the valley. Menus typically highlight seasonal produce, fresh pasta, local seafood and wines from the region.

Boat trips

Private boat trips along the Riviera del Conero reveal hidden coves, white cliffs and crystal-clear water. Swim in secluded bays, enjoy lunch on board and spend the day on the Adriatic Sea.

Italian cooking begins with simple ingredients and good company. Guests can enjoy hands-on cooking classes with a local chef, learning to prepare regional dishes such as fresh pasta, traditional sauces and seasonal specialities. Classes can take place at the house, followed by a long lunch on the terrace.

Marche is one of Italy’s historic centres of leather craftsmanship and home to many of the country’s finest shoe and handbag makers. Nearby factory outlets include the famous Tod’s outlet in Sant'Elpidio a Mare, as well as stores for brands such as Hogan and Fay.

Wine tastings

Marche is one of Italy’s most exciting wine regions, producing elegant whites such as Verdicchio and excellent reds from native grapes. Private tastings at nearby vineyards or a sommelier to the house for a guided tasting of local wines can be arranged.

Exercise

For guests who enjoy staying active, there are many opportunities for exercise during your stay. At the house itself you will find a small outdoor gym, equipped with kettlebells, dumbbells, TRX and fitness bands – ideal for morning workouts in the fresh country air. For those who prefer a traditional gym, several well-equipped fitness centres can also be found in the surrounding towns.

Hikes and runs are possible on the rolling hills surrounding the house. Furthermore, the nearby beautiful grounds of Abbazia di Fiastra offers a network of scenic running and walking routes through woodland, farmland and quiet gravel paths.
